ESGR is a Department of Defense program that develops and promotes supportive work environments for Service Members in the Reserve Components through outreach, recognition, and educational opportunities that increase awareness of applicable laws. It also aids in resolving conflicts between the Service Members and their employers.

The program aims to enhance readiness, build resilience, and facilitate smooth reintegration into civilian life by offering resources, services, and events that address the unique challenges faced by the Guard and Reserve families.

This program is responsible for enhancing operational effectiveness through continuous education, training, and professional development. This program ensures that all personnel- military, civilian, and interagency partners- are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and core competencies required to execute joint operations successfully.

The program aims to enhance clarity, unity, and efficiency by providing a standardized framework for communication, ensuring that all personnel have access to timely and accurate information. Reach out for communication training, resources, comments, or ideas.

Integrated Primary Prevention (IPP) promotes protective factors and reduces risk factors among individuals, within relationships, and within organizations through policies, programs, and practices. The Integrated Primary Workforce (IPPW) focuses on risk and protective factors that impact two or more harmful behaviors.

The mission of the California National Guard Chaplain core is to provide religious support to Soldiers and Airmen, Family and contractors across the full spectrum of domestic and contingency operations.

The California Military Department is committed to eliminating incidents of sexual assault by instituting a comprehensive policy and program that focuses on increasing awareness through prevention and education, victim-centered support, intimidation free reporting with thorough investigation and accountability for those who commit these crimes.

The goal of the California Military Department (CMD) Behavioral Health (BH) Program is to maintain the fighting force and enhance resiliency by providing the tools and resources to help CMD members overcome biopsychosocial stressors, grow as individuals, and function at the most efficient level in their psychological, emotional, occupational, and social domains.
