Task Force Vigilance

JTF-V Guidelines:

SMs with Top Secret clearance, Intel AFSC/MOS preferred. Duty stations in Riverside and San Diego sectors. (O-3 and below, E-7 and below) SMs with Secret clearance willing to work at the Port of Entry, any AFSC/MOS. Duty stations in Calexico and San Diego sectors. (No officers. E-6 and below) Staff positions based on vacancies.

Medical Requirements:

  • No IMR deficiencies
  • No profiles
  • No MRC 3 or 4
  • Females Only: Must have NEGATIVE pregnancy test within 15 days of order start date/renewal

APFT/FA requirements:

Upon arrival you will be required to complete a JTF-V conducted APFT/FA In accordance with AR 350-1, all Soldiers must attain a score of at least 60 points on each event and an overall score of at least 180 points In accordance with AFI 36-2905, all Airmen must earn a composite score of 75 or greater, and meet the component minimums Should you fail the APFT/FA, your orders will not be extended The goal for all JTF-V SMs is a score of 220/80 and above Should you pass but score below 220/80 you will be placed on a mandatory PT schedule until goal score is achieved

Other requirements:

SM will be required to attend IDT/AT as deemed appropriate by the JTFV Commander SM must have a clean driving record

Your name will appear on the volunteer list for ninety (90) days before expiration As vacancies are identified, the first five candidates (meeting all position criteria) will be emailed a hiring packet Once the completed hiring packet is received, your name will be placed on the stand by list based on date/time received.
