​The Airmen and Family Readiness Program Managers (AFRPM) serve as a one-stop information and referral center for Active-duty, Guard, Reserves, Retirees and Families. One of its major functions is ensuring Air personnel and their families are connected with the appropriate services. Call your AFRPM for assistance. ​

El Manual de Preparacion Familiar de la Guardia National de California, es un manual que ayuda guiar a las familias y a los demas seres queridos de nuestros soldados y aviadores. El objetivo del manual es sirvir como un recurso donde puedan mirar informacion sobre muchos temas que seran necessaries para un despliegue existoso. Incluso, contiene secciones que le brindan la oportunidad de sentarse y hacer planes y preparer su propia red de recursos a los que puedan recurrir cuando tenga una inquietud o problema. No se dejen itimidar por la cantidad de informacion y situaciones que presenta esta guia, de hecho, hay muchos recursos incluidos que pueden llamar cuando un problema se presente.

Requesting Assistance from the Family Assistance Program
Per CA ARNG Pam 608-24. Rear Detachments and Senior Commands can request assistance from the Family Assistance Program Coordinators to conduct pre-deployment, deployment and redeployment briefings, town halls and other activities by completing and forwarding “Appendix A”  to the Operation Ready Families Office at Joint Forces Headquarters.

  • CREATE COMMUNITY SUPPORT NETWORKS TO INCREASE THE LEVEL OF ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE TO NATIONAL GUARD FAMILIES.
  • PROVIDE NATIONAL GUARD CHILDREN AND YOUTH WITH THE TOOLS TO BE “READY” AND RESILIENT DURING THE DEPLOYMENT CYCLE.SERVICES

SERVICE –  Family Readiness Support Assistants

Mission

​The Family Readiness Support Assistants (FRSA’s) work directly for the Brigade Commander or Rear Detachment Commander during deployment. The FRSA’s main objective is to provide the Commander/RDC, Military Point of Contact (MPOC), and FRG Leader with administrative assistance in support of family readiness programs and activities.
