Overview

Cyber Dawn 2025 is a premier cyber defense exercise designed to train incident responders within FEMA Region IX. This event brings together cyber defense professionals from military units, government agencies, and private-sector critical infrastructure organizations to enhance collective response capabilities against cyber threats.

The exercise is organized by the California Military Department in collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and the California Cybersecurity Integration Center (Cal-CSIC).

Mission

Cyber Dawn 2025 focuses on collaborative defense measures to mitigate large-scale cyber threats targeting critical infrastructure.

  • Real-World Attack Simulations – Engage in live cyber defense exercises.
  • Incident Response Training – Based on USCYBERCOM Job Qualification Records (JQRs).
  • Cross-Sector Collaboration – Includes National Guard, government agencies, and private sector professionals.
  • Cyber Resilience Planning – Emphasizing healthcare, energy, and IT sectors.
Schedule
The event is scheduled for June 2025 at Jessup University, Rocklin, CA.
