​Knowledge is a key component of a "Ready Family". Our resource center contains essential information for families, military leaders, Family Readiness volunteers, or anyone who supports our service members.

Local Community Resource Finder

This resource is also located on the www.guardfamily.org website and can help you find resources in your area by city and category.  Simply go to http://www.jointservicessupport.org and click on the “Local Community Resource Finder” icon and follow the instructions on the page.  We are constantly adding more information, so please be sure to check back on a regular basis.

Our Resource Listing provides descriptions and links to a variety of websites and fact sheets. This list is being updated on a regular basis so check the as of date to make sure you have current version. You can find it under the documents section of the Guardfamily.org website, but you must register and login in to see California unique information. You can also click the link below. We recommend you save a copy to your desktop so it is always available. To do this, right click on the link and select “Save Target As”.  

California National Guard Family Readiness Handbook

This book is a "one-stop" resource guide for families and loved ones of our soldiers and airmen. In it, you will find a wealth of information on many topics that are essential to successful deployments (as well as homecomings) such as:
