Our vision is to train the leaders and future leaders of the Ordnance Corps. Our responsibility is to educate ourselves in order to ensure the Soldiers attending courses at the RTSM, are trained to be capable to survive, adapt, and win on the battlefield and to meet the needs of operational tempo of the Army. We will integrate resiliency and critical thinking into all training aspects, developing their skills to become strong self-learners in the ever changing operational environment.
The RTSM Ordnance Training Company programs and provides institutional training within assigned Ordnance Career Management Fields (CMF's) , Additional Skill Identifier (ASI's) and Professional Military Education (PME) based on the collective requirements identified by NGB-ART-I (Individual Training Branch, the Army Program for Individual Training (ARPRINT) for the Army National Guard, the United States Army Reserves (USAR), and the Active Component (AC) in support of the Army's Modular Force. The RTSM provides for the review and development of associated TATS courseware in response to the Army's training needs and Contemporary Operational Environment (COE). Additional, the RTSM provides operational, training, administrative, logistical and recourse management support as required to accomplish the mission to train the ARMY Warrior within the state of California and Territory as specified and approved by The Adjutant General (TAG).
