In the United States, Inspectors General (IGs) have over a 200 year history of inspecting, investigating, training, and performing duties necessary to support the missions of their respective organizations. (see History)

In that tradition, the California State Military Department IG, herein known as the Military Department IG, is an extension of the eyes, ears, voice, and conscience of The Adjutant General (TAG).

Anyone with information pertaining to the California Military Department processes may submit an Inspector General Action Request to the  Military Department Inspector General by either using the HOTLINE 1-888-645-0411 or by completing the below form (CA ARNG 1559) and mailing it to:
